II. Why the Blood Group is so important.

II. Why the Blood Group is so important.

Why the blood type is so important?
Overview, background on the precursors of blood group philosophy.

In 1957 an American naturopath, Dr. James D'Adamo, was the first to discover the importance of the relationship between diet and blood group and later was another dr. D'Adamo, Peter's son, to carry out the studies and research of his father.It all was born from a brilliant idea by James, who noticed how some of his patients would respond better to a strictly vegetarian diet, and like others, on the contrary, deriving a greater benefit from an almost daily consumption of meat. What was initially just a guess, quickly turned into a certainty. From subsequent analyzes it turned out that the first group, for the majority, was represented by persons of blood group A, while the second by people of blood type 0. His son, Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo, a few years later led to additional validation tests stating his father's assumptions.
Peter discovered how the same defense mechanism, which allows the immune system to track down a malicious intruder, such as bacteria and viruses, can enter into action wheter was consumed an identified food as "enemy" from our immunitaty mechanism.
This system is based on the chemical substances known as antigens and present in every body. Even the blood cells are "populated" by antigens and blood group is identified by its type and the presence or absence of these substances.
Group '0' (zero): NO antigen;
Group 'A': antigen 'A';

Group 'B': antigen 'B';
Group 'AB': antigen 'A+B'.

The antigens are responsible for alerting the immune system, if harmful foreign elements are introduced, as the example mentioned earlier made with viruses and bacteria, but also in the most severe case of a wrong blood transfusion between two incompatible blood groups, as for example between group A and group B.
Food also, it contains antigens . At a time when we eat, these antigens can be recognized by the immune system as "friends" or "enemies", just as with bacteria, viruses and blood transfusions. If the food antigens are recognized as enemies, an immune response is actuated stimulating the production of antibodies with the task of fighting unwelcome guests. For this reason some people tolerate well a given food and others do not, and in the case
where, of that particular food is not tolerated its consumption, in the long run - and in cases of particular sensitivity also in a short time - it will lead to the formation of diseases, more or less serious.
Wild animals understand by instinct what for them is good, or not good.
Captive animals lose their instinct and end up eating all that the man offers them.
A classic example is the mad cow disease, or bovine that long ago were fed with animal flour and that ended with the fall ill with this serious pathology.
Also dogs and cats have lost their instinct, so much so that by now become ill with cancer as much as humans.
In end man has lost his instinct, but fortunely, science, as often happens, comes to help us and is able to determine with good accuracy the relationship between food and blood groups.
From a meticulous laboratory work Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo, was able to draw up a very extensive list of compatible and incompatible foods for each blood type, dividing foods into three types:
- beneficial;
- neutral;
- harmful.

The beneficial foods are those who test positive and act like a real drug, enhancing the immune system.
Neutral foods are simply tolerated and can be introduced into the diet without major problems.
Harmful foods are not compatible with the immune system and their consumption can cause the formation of pathologies.
That's why it is so important to know your blood group and then follow a proper diet by excluding or limiting the consumption of certain potentially harmful foods.

Thanks for taking your time and reading this note.
Whenever you decided to get the Blood Group Diet started, you can do it with more awareness.
A spiritual Hug.
